A few weeks ago, I commissioned Valaheri for drawing my little babies : Mélusine, Grimm and Richelieu.
She came up with an awesome idea that made me laugh on paper. I can't tell you how happy I am with the final drawing !

ART - Developping Delacroix

ENGLISH

Delacroix was one of the first clan members to be developped and designed. This are the first drawings of him, in order : made by Amaury (its creator), Louise (Absinthe's creator) and Aurélie (Morphine's creator)

Delacroix était l'un des premiers membres du clan à être développé et designé. Voici les premiers dessins de lui, dans l'ordre : faits par Amaury (son créateur), Louise (la créatrice d'Absinthe) et Aurélie (la créatrice de Morphine)

 

EN : My first drawing of him with Absinthe was this one :

EN : As you can see, Absinthe changed A LOT ! but not Delacroix :P
FR : Comme vous pouvez le voir, Absinthe a BEAUCOUP changé ! mais pas Delacroix !

J'ai regardé dans mes vieux dossiers, et je suis tombée sur ce dessin de 2010. Il me semble que je ne l'avais jamais posté...
Comme d'hab, voici nos Gargoyles avec lesquelles on joue nos parties, Mélusine, Delacroix, Absinthe et Opaline.

As usual, here are our gargoyles we roleplay with : Mélusine, Delacroix, Absinthe and Opaline.

Ça y est ! Le Clan est reparti vers de nouvelles aventures ! YOUPI !
Après plus de quatre ans d'interruption (et ouais), nous avons (enfin !!!) recommencé à jouer.

On a repris là où nous en étions restés il y a quatre ans et même si on a pas fini l'action en cours, ce fut génial.
Contrairement à ce qu'on faisait avant (du RP par forum), nous avons joué via Skype et vyew.com et c'était absolument cool et vachement pratique.

Delacroix, Absinthe et Mélusine are in da place !
Et pour toi, public, voici un petit cadeau, un recueil de dessins des enfants qu'Isidore Montigny a conservé précieusement. Comme quoi les gamins étaient très... créatifs :P

Here it is ! Paris' Clan is off to new adventures ! YEAH !
After about four years of hiatus, we (at last !!!) began to roleplay again >0<

We took the story where we left off four years ago and it feels so great !
We didn't roleplay like we used to (Forum RP), yesterday we played via Skype and vyew.com and it was absolutely awesome and really handy.

Delacroix, Absinthe and Mélusine are in da place !
And for you, dear audience, here is a little gift, a Kids drawing's anthology, preciously kept by Isidore Montigny
As you can see, kids were extremely... creative :P

ART : MGC Artists as gargoyles

Le thème de ce mois-ci sur MGC, c'est "Artistes en Gargoyles". Louise m'a proposé de faire une collab et j'ai dit "Bah bien sûr !! XD"
Vous pouvez voir Absinthe, Delacroix et Mélusine en pleine discussion avec leur garg-créateurs c'est à dire respectivement : Louise (en gris), Amaury (en rouge sombre) et moi même (Karell)
On a vraiment fait cette illus à l'envers : j'ai fait le line sur photoshop, Louise l'a ensuite imprimé sur papier épais et a peint à l'acrylique dessus, avant de le rescanner pour que je finisse en mettant la bordure et les textes ^^

héhé pour le texte sous Delacroix et Amaury, il s'agit d'une private joke, un truc qui nous a fait hurler de rire que vous pouvez voir ici : http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=fOvglodUIcA&feature=related

This month's topic on MGC is "Artist as Gargoyles". Louise asked me if I wanted to do a collaboration and I said Of course !!!! you kiddin' ?
So you can see Delacroix, Absinthe and Mélusine with their respective creators as gargoyles : Amaury (the dark red one), Louise (the grey one) and myself (the pink one).
I did the lineart on Photoshop, send it to Louise who printed it and painted it with acrylics. Then I added the texts and the border in photoshop... and VOILA !
The text under Delacroix and Amaury is a private joke, something that made us laugh to tears :

ART : Mélusine & Absinthe Teenagers by Louise

Louise a dessiné Mélusine et Absinthe en période ado dans les années 80. J'adore la tunique de Mélusine !! dommage qu'elle n'ai pas eu le courage de dessiner leurs ailes, mais elles sont cool comme ça :P

Louise drew Mélusine and Absinthe in their teenage years in the 80's. I love Mélusine's outfit !! Too bad that she couldn't draw their wings but they are cool as they are !

ART : Morphine by Aurélie

Voici un dessin de Morphine, fait par sa créatrice, Aurélie, après s'être décidée pour la forme des ailes. (au lieu d'ailes normales) Moi je l'aime bien comme ça, ça lui donne du caractère !

Here is a drawing of Morphine, drawn by her creator Aurélie after she decided her wings' designs. I like her that way, instead of regular wings. I think it gives her personnality.
